Here I am continuing to write love letters to the people who I hold dear to my heart.
You see, I’ve been reading this book called “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” by Richard Carlson and one of the strategies he suggests to help aid in living a stress-free life is simply spending a sliver of your day thinking of someone to thank. Here, I am continuing my Love Series. Let’s get right into it.
I can’t remember specifically the first time we met, but it was around the same time Sharing entered my life as I also encountered you in ABC Church. Growing up, we were friendly with one another but we didn’t start becoming close till I entered high school. To this day I can say I have always admired you for your strong faith in our almighty God. You have always stood firm no matter what was thrown your way.
I am one of the luckiest girls on earth to have an older sister in Christ like you. You are another individual who has loved me through thick in thin, who never pried and who has always lifted up my spirits with the truth and the encouragement that I constantly need.
I call you “Vibrant Color” because that is what you are. Your love is as vibrant as the brightest of colors. Thank you for continuously showing me how great our God is through your actions, through your words. One of my favorite things in the world is coming home randomly to a card you have mailed to me! Those moments are truly the best because they are so unexpected.
I thank God for placing you in my life. Your joyful spirit lifts me up always as I can even vividly picture your genuine smile with your pearly whites in this moment. Thank you for being cheerful and for loving food as much as I do. Thank you for teaching me how to be strong mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Your character and your passion for Christ truly lights a fire in me.
