Girl, You Be Killin’ It

Good morning, all.

This is the story about the younger sister I never had, but always wanted. Let’s get right into it.

I met you about two years ago, in the preliminary stages of your romantic relationship with Brilliant (Kindness’ younger brother). At first, to be honest, I didn’t think much of having a relationship with you because we didn’t speak much. As long as you made B. happy, that was all Kindness and I cared about.

Last Spring, I began to realize that this could be something serious and that there was potential to grow within yours and B.’s relationship, so I wanted to make more of an effort to get to know you.

You are four years younger than me, and sometimes I tend to forget that, because I  can see that at a young age, you’ve been through certain life experiences that have made you who you are to this day. I see a lot of myself in you, in a good way, of course. Many times I want to tell you what to do, but I realize that you must go through life making your own decisions. But do know, that if you ever need guidance, I will always be here for you.

It’s been quite a journey for the both of us, huh? But hey, God is good, and He has put us in each others’ lives for a reason. I cannot wait for you to experience Him fully.

Killa K. (ha ha), I love you wholeheartedly. Thank you for being the beautiful child of God that I know you are. Continue to live in the present, never in the past or in the future, and you will get through this journey of life. We will walk together, side by side.
