I’ve got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy

(Down in my heart, where?) – song reference, he he ha ha.

Hello, Joy!

Before I get into the positive highlights of our current relationship, let me tell the story of how we met.

It was seventh grade in Magical Junior High School. We had almost every class together, and I remember one day before stepping into Social Studies, I noticed your “W. W. J. D.” bracelet. I got so excited to find a sister in Christ in middle school! Since then, I knew you would be someone that I could confide in, and that holds true to this day.

Your personal relationship with Christ story is pretty amazing, but I’ll let you do the story telling yourself when you’re ready one day. I am constantly amazed by you, and the faith that you have in our almighty Lord. You are one of the greatest blessings that He has given me, in the fact that you are always there to provide the Lord’s truth when I need to hear it the most.

The way you carry yourself is stunningly beautiful. I know you’re someone who is extremely hard on yourself, but know that you are so loved and you are such a lovely person! I think a lot of the times you just tend to overthink the situation at hand, whatever it may be (don’t worry, you’re not alone in this). Anyways, I am here to say that I love you so much and I am so thankful to have you in my life.

You’ve done so much for me spiritually throughout my time of knowing you and I just have so many thanks to God for putting you in my life. The more I get to know you and the more time that is spent with you, I am able to see God’s love and the more I am able to learn more about our sovereign King.

Keep on doing you, Joy, because the Lord will take you far in this earthly life. Love you and thank you. I am proud to call you one of my best friends. Please know that I will always lend an ear, and give you my all if you ever need me to be there for you.

Always,

B. T. B.
